Welcome Statement

Beloved, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. So we invite you to bring your whole self to the table because the world needs the real you. There is a place for you here where we boldly welcome, support, and celebrate everyone, period. As an anti-racist and affirming community, this welcome especially and explicitly centers our BIPOC and LGBTQIA2+ siblings.

Note: We use the acronym BIPOC, and while the term Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) is meant to be inclusive, we do understand it is imperfect and imprecise. Although BIPOC includes Asian and Latino/a/x people as well as other racial and ethnic groups, we want to acknowledge that the acronym does not always resonate with everyone it was meant to embrace. Also, the acronym LGBTQIA2+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Aromantic or Asexual, and Two-Spirit people. The plus acknowledges allies as well as the terms used to describe gender identities and sexual orientations that are constantly changing and being updated to better represent people.
